Notary actions
A notary public performs the following actions:
- draws up notarial deeds
- administers affirmations
- provides affidavits
- compiles protocols
- executes protests for promissory notes and checks
- is entrusted with documents, money and securities for safekeeping
- draws up copies, excerpts and abstracts of documents
- at parties’ request, drafts affirmations, oaths and other documents
- performs other actions specified in separate legal provisions
The notary’s fee
the remuneration for notary actions is specified by the regulation of the Minister of Justice on the 28th of June 2004 on maximum notary fees (Journal of the Laws, No. 148, item 1564 with further amendments)
